This Ground supported roof system is ideal for medium to large sized festival stages, shows and events, it can also be used indoors or outdoors as a lighting rig or can be reconfigured to suit other trussing options. As it’s built on the ground then hoisted to height most of the work is done at ground level saving time and so conforming to the working at height regulations too.
This price we paid in 2008 was £39,728 it has not had a hard life and still looks in good clean condition.
Designed and engineered in association with Thomas Engineering of Worcester this system is based on support columns and a grid of their 40 cm Superlite truss and features Rakers of 170mm Keder extrusion with Covers by JJ Carter.
Integrated Manual Winches by Friedrich Koster GmbH allow construction independent of power supply so the structure can be erected before anyone else arrives on site.
The stage comes with a full structural appraisal to BSCP8118 by the Broadhurst Partnership as well as documentation which consists of a 42 page structural analysis, 40 page manual of design specs and drawings plus a 5 page winch user manual. (see photos)
We have used it with litedeck staging and ramps but it could be used with any staging system. The covers are white and made of quality flame retardant PVC with a lacquered coating so they clean up like new.
I can offer full training with experienced crew on first installation.
A great solution to your ballasting needs. The four ballasts when in collapsed mode occupy the volume of one thus saving both storage and transport space. Conversion from collapsed to container mode and back takes moments by one person.
